Dear guests and friends of Sälstationen,
2025 has been a year filled with wonderful experiences and memories we’ve had the pleasure of sharing with you. Looking back at the past year, we are delighted by everything we’ve been able to experience together. Here are some of this year’s memorable moments from Sälstationen.
**This Year’s Highlights at Sälstationen**
**June Wedding – A Magical Day by the Water**
In June, we had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful wedding. The entire party arrived by boat and stepped ashore at Sälstationen. The jetties were carefully set with decorations, atmospheric lighting and music. The couple’s sailboat was moored at the pier, giving a magical touch to this romantic day.
**Tree Tents – Hanging Tents Among the Trees**
We introduced our Tree Tent for the first time this year, and our first guests got to sleep in a tent suspended between the trees. Staying this close to nature, with only a thin layer between you and the stars, was an experience that truly touched many. We are already looking forward to welcoming more guests to try this exciting form of accommodation next season.
**Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago**
For those wanting to explore the archipelago in a different way, we offered guided kayak tours starting from Sälstationen. Participants paddled between islands and skerries, discovered hidden gems and listened to local stories. After a day on the water, guests appreciated relaxing in the sauna, enjoying a good dinner, and sleeping comfortably in cabins and glamping tents.
**Regular Guests at Midsummer**
The same cheerful group returned to celebrate midsummer with us for the second year in a row. Midsummer’s Eve was filled with the raising of the maypole, traditional activities, good food and a lovely atmosphere. We are already looking forward to welcoming both new and returning guests for future midsummer celebrations!
**Meetings with a View**
We have welcomed several organisations choosing to hold their meetings at Sälstationen, either as day meetings or including overnight stays. Our guests have enjoyed exclusive access to the entire venue, with inspiring work sessions, team building and relaxation.
**Try Wing Foiling – An Exciting Adventure**
One of the summer’s most adventurous activities was when a group of guests visited us and had booked an instructor to try Wing Foiling. For those wanting to test this refreshing sport, it was a fantastic chance to experience the new trend in the archipelago.
**Give an Experience – Gift Cards from Sälstationen**
A gift card from Sälstationen offers a unique nature experience. It can be used for both accommodation and activities. Choose from a night in our glamping tents, a lovely weekend with kayaking, hiking and relaxation, or an afternoon with sauna, brunch and a guided history tour.
