This summer at Sälstationen, we offer a unique experience for those who want to combine relaxation in nature with comfort. Staying in our glamping tents is like staying in a nature hotel with beautiful interiors, stunning sea views, and the peaceful atmosphere of Sälstationen’s oasis.
Stay for several days, unwind, and explore the area – both through exciting activities and a historic environment full of hidden stories.
Included:
- Accommodation in glamping tents (2–5 nights, Sunday–Thursday).
- Breakfast baskets.
- Access to activities such as rowboats, SUP, bicycles, hiking trails with suggested excursions.
- Cozy interiors, private terrace, sun loungers.
- For Pottifars tent: Private kitchen with hot & cold water, Muurikka, gas burner, and fridge.
- For Bigges tent: Water in a container, outdoor kitchen corner, cooler box.
- Electricity and lighting in the tents.
- Bed linen (hotel standard), final cleaning.
- Access to sauna, shower, and water toilet.
Add-ons:
- Muurikka basket: ingredients and recipes to cook a main course and dessert on the Muurikka.
- Camping stove basket: ingredients and recipes to cook outdoors on a camping stove (Bigge’s tent only) – one main dish and a sweet treat with coffee/tea.
- Outdoor cooking backpack / cook outdoors in nature.
- Lunch package.
- Booking: Introduction to Sälstationen’s history (17:15 / 30 min).
- Hiking package: map and guidance for hiking along the Gålö coast, 12 km or 5 km options, luggage transfer included.
- Kayak rental with suggested excursions.
- Family package: Insect world, games, crafts, and experiences on biodiversity with a nature guide on Wednesdays (2 hours).
Dates: 2 to 5 nights, Sunday – Thursday in June, July, August, September.
Time: Check-in from 3:00 PM (Welcome on the docks from 1:00 PM).
Check-out at 11:00 AM.
Prices: To estimate the price of your stay, expect approximately 25%-30% additional discount compared to a booking for a “Glamping Experience” package.
