Booking conditions (For group bookings of more than 8 people, special rules apply, see group conditions.)
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in from 3:00 p.m. You are welcome on the piers from 1:00 p.m.
Check-out before 11:00 a.m.
On the day of departure, all rooms and premises must be left clean and ready by 11:00 a.m. You are expected to leave all premises and rooms in the same condition as when you arrived!
Payment
100 percent upon booking.
If the fee is not paid on the due date, the date will again be bookable for other requests. The due date for the booking fee is 3 working days.
Cancellation
If cancelled earlier than 7 days before the arrival date, the full amount will be refunded minus a 250 SEK administration fee.
A cancellation between 7 days and 1 day before the agreed arrival date is fully refunded only if we can first fill the date with a new booking. Otherwise, 50% of the order value minus 250 SEK in administration fee will be refunded.
A cancellation less than 24 hours before arrival is non-refundable.
Rules
For safety reasons, you may not let more people stay overnight in the cabins than you stated when booking. Additional guests must be notified to Sälstationen staff.
If you are going to be more than the number of overnight guests in the house during the day, please contact us for an agreement.
You, who are responsible for the booking, are fully responsible for all damage that occurs to the property and its furnishings due to your or someone in your party being careless.
You are responsible for not allowing unauthorized persons into the building during the rental period. Any door codes, etc. may not be given out to guests who are not part of your group.
The supplier has no strict liability for property stored in rooms or on the supplier’s premises.
Between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, you must exercise the utmost consideration and silence towards other guests and neighbors of the Seal Station.
If complaints regarding disruptive behavior are received by the facility, the host has the right to immediately evict the Guest if correction is not made immediately after notice. The Guest is obliged to compensate the facility for costs caused by the above. Refunds for remaining nights will only be made for nights the facility can book new guests.
Smoking and pets
Smoking and pets are not allowed at the hostel. With the exception of our Palmen cabin, which can accommodate your best friend. However, you may not let your four-legged friend onto the bed. Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to bring a pet. In case of violation of these prohibitions (smoking and pets), we have the right to charge the cost of washing textiles, etc.
Bedding
Bedding is NOT included. For hygienic reasons, each guest must use a bottom sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover (NOT sleeping bags). Bring your own bedding or rent from us.
Age limit
The minimum age to enter into an agreement with Sälstationen is 18 years. The age limit applies to everyone in the party. Identification is required upon arrival. Exceptions apply to children accompanied by a guardian. If a guest does not meet the age limit upon entry to the accommodation, cancellation rules apply.
Disclaimer
We reserve the right to change prices due to changes in currencies, taxes, etc. or printing errors.
Force majeure
In the event that the booking cannot be carried out due to an obstacle beyond the control of Sälstationen that Sälstationen could not reasonably have been expected to have taken into account when the agreement was entered into and the consequences of which it could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, Sälstationen is free from liability for damages or other penalties. The same applies even if the cancellation of the booking is due to someone hired by Sälstationen or someone else in an earlier stage. Sälstationen reserves the right to changes in law and price changes that are beyond the control of Sälstationen..
